Ariel Motor Company is a low-volume performance manufacturing company whose headquarters are in Crewkerne, Somerset, England. Founded in 2001 by Simon Saunders, the company is one of the smallest manufacturers in the United Kingdom, producing only 100 vehicles a year with 19 employees.
The company manufactures their main production car, the Ariel Atom. It is the world's first exoskeletal road car. The cars are mainly know for their powerful acceleration, both cars going from 0-60 mph or 0-100 kph in less than 2.8 seconds.
